While out on a walk with our Yorkies the other day, we saw this zinnia growing in a tiny crack between the curb and the street. It not only grew where there was little soil or moisture, it bloomed and more blooms were coming. How a zinnia ended up in that crack is a mystery. Maybe the rain washed the seed there, or a bird dropped it there. How it got there doesn’t matter, it’s what that little plant did….it just lived and bloomed and praised the God who created it in the first place. It didn’t complain about the drought or the lack of soil. Plants have a goal, to make seeds. I hope the next time I am in a hard spot, I will remember that sweet zinnia and just bloom. Just bloom wherever the Lord puts me. Bloom and praise and not complain! Grow little flower, grow!
