Three things

I found this Scripture and decided I need to focus on these three things in my life.  If I really apply them, it might really change me and maybe even a few of my circumstances!

1 Corinthians 13:12-13

The Message (MSG)

“We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!

But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation:

1. Trust steadily in God

2. Hope unswervingly

3.  Love extravagantly (or as we say at MOPS… Love wildly!)

And the best of the three is love.”

If I truly trust, hope, and love, I will be too busy to worry, complain, and waste my time! So for now I am focusing on the three until the fog clears and I see Him face to face!

I totally agree and I enjoyed discovering a new way to articulate my love to my wife, “I love you wildly”. That’s a great one. But here’s a question. How do you, yourself, express your love for God extravagantly? In other words, what do you actually do in your relationship with God that you consider extravagant?

I think by putting my relationship with God 1st even above my husband and children is extravagant. Also when I worship Him, I don’t hold back! I try to express my deep love for Him often. It is hard to articulate….I just love Him!
